Alex Jordan announces new solo album, launches new website
This Spring 2020, Alex Jordan’s debut solo album, “The Subtle Exhibitionist”, is set to be released. The album, which contains 10 tracks of original music, showcases the versatility of the Midnight North multi-instrumentalist as he plays the majority of the instruments on the album. With the help of Sean Nelson on drums, additional bass work by Alex Jordan Band member Owen McInnis, and ALO bassist Steve Adams, guest organ work by Danny Eisenberg, steel guitars by Dave Zirbel, and others, Jordan has crafted a diverse album that promises depth upon every listen. Jordan co-produced the album alongside engineer David Simon-Baker at Allegiant Records in San Anselmo, drawing on inspiration from Simon-Baker’s recent work at the studio including Midnight North’s “Under the Lights.” About the title, Jordan says, “Some one once described themselves to me as a ‘subtle exhibitionist’ and I knew that was it. The song came a little later on but the juxtaposition of the conflicting concepts was rather intriguing.”
In conjunction with the release announcement, a brand new website, alexjordanjams.com, has been launched where you can find Jordan’s upcoming tour dates, read news and eventually buy merchandise including your very own copy of “The Subtle Exhibitionist.”
